A Post Top is a decorative section of a newel post above the line of the handrail. iBuildstore has a large range of timber and Stainless Steel Post Tops that can be purchased attached to a Newel Post or on their own. Post Tops can also be displayed at bottom of newel. This is known as a Tear Drop. Post Tops are also known as a Post Cap, Finial or Newel Post Cap.
Our Timber Newel Posts in all species is of SELECT grade quality. It’s relatively clear and free of defects, however there can be small amounts of gum vein, surface checking (splits), knots and black specks within the SELECT grading. Such defects will not be considered if a refund is requested.
